When I visit a new city, or when traveling, in general, I like to try and eat at local/non-chain restaurants. Listen, there is nothing wrong with picking up some Pizza Hut once in a while, but I try to avoid that. During my trip to Kansas City, I was on a mission to find some of the best food in the city! Well, I would call my search quite successful! Let’s start with Rye, a Kansas City eatery by chef-owners Megan and Colby Garrelts. The award winning duo serves hearty dishes with bold, classic flavors, decadent desserts and offer plenty of cocktails to help you wash everything down. Plus, they offer cinnamon rolls as an appetizer. What more do you need?

ON MY PLATE (see below): Cinnamon Rolls (by the way, they are available on a first come, first serve basis so get moving’!) – Crisply Chicken Sandwich – Omelet of the Day (eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and arugula) – Buttermilk Pancakes

About Me

I launched this blog in 2012 as a simple way for me to share cool content about men’s grooming and style, design, and travel with friends. It has since evolved into a life | style platform where I have been able to share anything from up-and-coming brands, new eateries and boutique hotels, some of my favorite products and a few of my travels in between.
