My friends and I decided to visit Canada for a week during the Fourth of July holiday. I know, that doesn’t seem very patriotic of us. Sorry, ‘Merica. It was hot when we left Dallas (hello, Texas summers!), but I knew the weather would shift a few times once we arrived in Canada. I attempted to pack accordingly, mostly layers, a lot of neutral colors, some hiking boots and a thicker jacket. I threw in some running shoes, a few long-sleeved t-shirts and a hooded sweatshirt. I tried things on at home before I packed like I do for most trips and it seemed like I had it all figured out. I had packed all of the necessary items, right?! Wrong. Lol. Like on most trips, unforeseen weather patterns and activities arose so some improvisation was needed.

About Me

I launched this blog in 2012 as a simple way for me to share cool content about men’s grooming and style, design, and travel with friends. It has since evolved into a life | style platform where I have been able to share anything from up-and-coming brands, new eateries and boutique hotels, some of my favorite products and a few of my travels in between.
